Waverly Alum, Muhsin Muhammad II wins an Emmy Award

Muhsin Muhammad II, a 1991 graduate of Waverly High School and a current Wide Receiver for the Chicago Bears has added a new honor to his resume: he has won an Emmy Award for the television program called Hangin with the Moose. Comcast SportsNet of Chicago provided the following press release.

CSN Recognized by the Chicago/Midwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences

Comcast SportsNet Chicago, the television home of the Chicago Bulls, Blackhawks, White Sox and Cubs, was the recipient of four Emmy Awards from the Chicago/Midwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. The ceremony was held in Chicago on Sunday, November 19.

“We are honored to receive these awards from our peers in the industry and we feel they are a reflection of the great work performed by our entire staff,” said James J. Corno, Senior Vice President/General Manger for Comcast SportsNet Chicago.
