Roundup meetings are held in the Kindergarten room of each school. Children should come dressed to participate in classroom activities. Parents will receive information that will be helpful in getting the child off to a good start in school. The children and parents will have an opportunity to meet the teachers, counselor, principal and other support personnel. Due to the format, we encourage you to make arrangements for your younger children so that you can enjoy the time with your kindergarten student.

Enrollment is not complete until we have received all enrollment materials. This includes:
Child's State Certified Birth Certificate
Complete Immunization Records
Vision/Hearing Results
Two Proofs of Residency

A certified birth certificate may be obtained from the county clerk's office in the county in which your child was born. Michigan birth certificates may also be obtained at the Michigan Department of Public Health (335-8656), 3453 N. Martin Luther King Blvd.

Complete immunizations includes: 5 DTP, 4 Polio, 2 MMR, 3 Hepatitis B Shots (the 2nd and 3rd shot must have six months between given dates) and the Varicella (chickenpox) vaccine.

Vision and Hearing results from a Nursery School Day Care or Head Start will take care of this requirement.

Two proofs of residency must consist of a Driver's License or Voter's Registration Card and one other piece that could be a utility bill, lease, insurance forms, or other bill.
