Applications to

To the Parents of the Class of 2010

Once again this year Waverly High School will provide opportunities to test out of required classes, thus allowing students to waive a specific course.

Most frequently students have attempted to test out of Health and Science systems, while some have attempted other courses.

Testing out allows a student to "bypass" a required course. The transcript will indicate a pass for the class, but no credit toward graduation or department requirements is awarded.

Students desiring to test out of any course during the 2006-2007 school year must do so in July 2006. A student is allowed only one attempt a testing out of a given course.

Applications for testing out will be available beginning April 14 in the main offices of the high school and middle school. The deadline for application submission is May 17. This deadline will be strictly enforced due to limited preparation materials.

If you have further questions please contact the high school.
