Waverly's District Character Traits Focus of Music Show 12/15/2005 Elmwood Elementary Hosts “Smudge Fundaes”
Waverly’s Elmwood Elementary School will host a traveling music show called the “Smudge Fundaes” from Canada that speaks to school aged children about not bullying or being bullied. The show will be held in the Elmwood Elementary School Gym on Wednesday, January 11, 2006. Third and fourth grades will attend the performance at 9:00 a.m. Kindergarten through second grades will attend at 10:00 a.m.
As an ongoing focus with Waverly’s district character traits of care and respect this program is a good match. The show will help young learners to not become bullies or to help kids make choices to seek help if needed.
