Youth Basketball League registration

Delta Township and Waverly Schools have teamed up to once again to Co-Sponsor Tri-County Youth Basketball Teams for the 2005/2006 Season.  

 Tri-County Youth Basketball is a competitive program that plays games beginning in December and running through mid-February with practices usually starting late October.  Games are held in the Clinton , Eaton & Ingham Counties and are usually played on Saturdays.  This program is for 5^th – 8^th grade girls and 5^th & 6^th grade boys.  Teams are limited to two teams per grade for boys and two teams per grade for girls.  Teams usually consist of 10 players each, therefore if more than 20 sign up per grade, it may cause a selection process to be used to determine which children are placed on a team.  Please note, because this is a competitive league, there are no rules regarding playing time.

The cost per player is $85.00.  This includes a uniform jersey (must be returned at the end of the season) and a warm-up t-shirt.

So if you are interested in playing basketball, come prepared to shoot some hoops & sign up at the appropriate time listed below.  A parent or guardian must be present.

We need your help!!  We are looking for Coaches and Assistant Coaches to help coach these teams.  An informational meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 19^th, from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Waverly East for anyone interested in Coaching or helping Coach for the above listed teams.
