K-16 Rally at Capitol 06/23/2005 K-16 Coalition Rally – June 21, 2005
11,000 educators and supporters from across the state gathered at the Lansing Center on June 21st to kick off a rally and speeches in front of Michigan’s State Capitol.
The rally was specifically in support of House Bill 4582 (HB 4582) and Senate Bill 246 (SB 246).
Governor Jennifer M. Granholm and other dignitaries spoke in support of appropriate funding for education in Michigan.
