Waverly High Theatre production recognized with award

The Lansing State Journal recognized Waverly High School with a Thespie award, which is the Lansing State Journal award for local theatre.  The Waverly High School musical production of Starmites, which was produced in the fall of 2004, received the following recognition.

"A rare nod to a high school for successfully tackling something difficult. Waverly High's "Star Mites" was distinctive and well-done."

Starmites was directed by Patrice VanVoorhees.
