Waverly Summer Child Care Program 06/08/2005
Program Features Community Service Projects & Field Trips
Waverly Child Care Activities Program offers a variety of community service projects, field trips and other activities for children pre-K through sixth grades.
Community Service is a big part of the children’s summer. The program participants help with a gardening project, participate in a patriotic bike-a-thon, plan a kid’s garage sale, sponsor a car wash, hold a book fair and other community service learning projects.
The Child Care Activities Program will attend a K9 & Sheriff Department trip to Mason, visit Crossroads Village and Huckleberry Railroad in Flushing, visit the MSU Abram’s Planetarium and MSU Dairy, attend a Lugnuts game, enjoy the production of Raggedy Ann & Andy as well as other educational and exciting field trips.
Waverly’s Child Care Activities Program is modeled around Waverly’s Character Clusters -- caring, responsibility, honesty and respect. The program has been in existence for 21 years.
