The Waverly Community Schools are hosting a Colt Early Childhood Education Center Celebration Picnic on Thursday, August 25, 2011 from 5-7 p.m. at Sharp Park, located at 1401 Elmwood Road, in Delta Township. All incoming Colt students and their families are invited to attend. There is no cost to attend this event.

The picnic will feature clowns making balloon animals, an opportunity to meet staff and sign up with Rainbow Child Care, see/touch a fire truck, police vehicle, and school bus, meet Delta Township Library staff at the ‘story corner’, raffle prizes, a T-shirt for all Colt students, family photo, carnival games and crafts, meet new classmates, staff, board members, Waverly Education Foundation reps, Waverly Marketing Committee reps, PTO reps, WHS athletic and honor students, free food, and much more.
