The Waverly Middle School will be recognizing this year’s 8th grade students in a ceremony to be held in the Waverly High School auditorium on Wednesday, June 8th, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. Each student will receive a certificate in recognition of completing the 8th grade. Students will be individually recognized with packets from their teachers. Specific awards will also be handed out for citizenship, humor, creative thinking and leadership.

The Waverly Middle School Jazz Band, directed by David Gorbe, will perform at the awards ceremony. Immediately after the ceremony there will be a reception in the Waverly High School athletic commons.
