The Canterbury Tales is a story from the 13th century about eight pilgrims, each from different walks of life, who meet up and decide to travel together to Canterbury Cathedral, to the tomb of the martyred archbishop, Thomas Beckett. To keep themselves entertained along the way, they agree to have a storytelling contest.
Each student plays not only a pilgrim in Chaucer’s story, but also ‘doubles’ as several characters in the various tales. The actors will be playing thirty six roles. The cast includes Rachel Spidle, Meredith Wright, Olivia Panessiddi, Baylie Sanchez, Layce Ryan, Analisia Tupper, Jeanne Gala, Krista Mickelson, Robert McConnell, Lindsay Gonzalez, Angela Wright, and Paige Graham. Staff includes Director - Richard C. Redman, Producer and Technical Director - Rita Diebler, Costumers - Wendy Baugh and Mary Jo Baker, Promotions - Jenna Erbele, and Executive Producer - Eldon McGraw.
