Attention Waverly Stakeholders

The Governor and legislature plan to impose a $567 cut per pupil this year on Waverly, which is approximately $1.7 million. This cut is much higher than most other districts in the state due to the Governor’s unfair veto of section 20j of the school aid act. It will be a devastating cut that will surely impact Waverly students, staff, programs and services.

The Governor and legislature must hear from you now on the serious impact of this $1.7 million cut to Waverly.

It is time to let your voice be heard.

Join with other stakeholders from districts across Michigan on the lawn of the capitol on:

Tell the Governor and legislature to restore the cuts now! Urge them to find a more equitable and stable system for funding K-12 education in Michigan.
