Lady Warriors win State Basketball Title 12/07/2004 The Waverly Warriors defeated Martin Luther King Jr. High School of Detroit on Sat., December 4th, 2004 by the score of 33-32. This is the first State Championship in Girls Basketball for Waverly High School. Congratulations to the players and coaches on their State Championship!!!
