The Waverly Community Schools and the Waverly Education Foundation are holding a fall
celebration for the entire community on Friday, September 5, 2008 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Planned Events:
* Center stage-focusing on Waverly student performances.
* Academic galleries to showcase students’ work
* “Make It-Take It” areas to encourage family participation in math and science
* Carnival-like atmosphere with popcorn, face painting and balloons
* Food vendors invited to share ethnic foods
* Giveaway of donated merchandise
* Close the evening with Waverly varsity football game
(football tickets are $10 for a family pass, $5 for adult and student
tickets, five years old and under and senior citizens are free).
