American Association of School Librarians - Continuing Education

iBistro Library Catalog

iBistro is an online public access catalogue (OPAC). It is an internet gateway to the Delta/Waverly library catalogue. The catalogue is searchable by author, title, or keyword. There are also special graphic interfaces for adult browsing ("Find It Fast") and children's searches ("Kids' Library"). Access to the internet is available through the "Knowledge Portal". We have additional content for our patrons with the Sirsi DataStream content subscription. Through this resource library users have access to book summaries and reviews, author biographies, color images of book jackets, table of contents and first chapters, reading lists, best seller lists, and interesting websites to explore.

The Michigan Children's Protection Registry is a secure database of protected e-mail addresses and other electronic contact points such as: fax numbers, mobile phone numbers (SMS), and instant messenger IDs. It allows Michigan's parents and schools to register electronic contact points that children may access.

Citizens Alliance To Uphold Special Education (CAUSE)
A Parent Training Information Center for the State of Michigan. CAUSE is a statewide non-profit coalition providing free information, referral, support, advocacy, and workshops to parents and professionals working with children with disabilities and special needs.
